How Can severe Upper Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

upper abdomen pain ,directly below sternum only ,pain comes and goes ,comes on like a mini labor pain,like starts hurting with a strong pain the pain gets less and less and then goes away. had severe heart burn two days ago got alot better with antiacids. has not gone away completly

Hello and thank you for posting your question here on health care magic.I'll defenitely help you.
From your symptom i can say that you have acute gastritis.Its unclear if you had this symptom before,if you have any cardiac problems, other symptoms along with the pain, history of any other drug inatke etc.
Another possible diagnosis is acid reflux disease.Fortunately for both acute gastritis and acid reflux treatment is the same.
Tab.Pantoprazole 40mg,Tab.Ranitidine 150mg(Both reduce the production of gastric acid)
and an antacid(neutralises the acid already produced and raises ph).
Along with these drugs you also need to avoid oily and spicy food,do not go to bed soon after a meal,drink pleanty of water,avoid alchohol and smoking.
If the symptoms persists or if it reappears kindly consult a doctor.
